New log yard for hardwood for French sawmill HUBERLANT

In May last year HOLTEC received the order from HUBERLANT for supplying a log yard for processing hardwood.
HUBERLANT is located in the middle of the champagne growing area near Reims and is very successful in second and third generation.
Mostly beech and oak logs with a diameter of up to 1200 mm are processed.

Supplying a complete log yard for hardwood is no daily business for HOLTEC.
Extremely heavy logs with big diameters and sometimes curved have to be loaded, cut, butt-reduced, debarked and sorted.
Several challenges that were successfully met.

After the summer holiday at the end of August, the site will start full production in one-shift operation with an output of 45,000 solid m³ per year.
