First Health Day „Back Check“ at HOLTEC was a great success
July 11th, 2019 the BGF Institute, Cologne in cooperation with the AOK Rheinland /Hamburg (health insurance) made the first “Back Check” at HOLTEC.
With a mobile back check device they tested the endurance strength of back and abdominal muscles. The results were discussed individually after each check and employees got recommendations to build up balanced core muscles. Furthermore people got ergonomic advice at their workplace. This offer was so well accepted (quote > 50%) that a second “Back Check Day” is planned next week.
One of the first attendees at the back check was Erich Poth who is working at HOLTEC for 41 years. He was very motivated to do the checks that were carefully monitored by qualified sports teacher Karl Ricks (institute for workplace health promotion / BGF-Institut).
In addition to the personal check and advise people could also enter a competition managed by Thorsten Ley from the AOK Rheinland/Hamburg.
A successful day for employee’s health.
