Successful LIGNA show in Hanover

A successful LIGNA 2019 is finished. Following the successful start two years ago, HOLTEC presented at two booths again an even wider product and service range for the sawmill industry (hall 25 / D50) and for the wood based material industry (hall 26 / C27).

This year’s LIGNA showed latest trends and innovations for the woodworking industry, especially focusing on smart technologies as well as digital and automated solutions. Beyond doubt, the main topics of the show were digitalization and industry 4.0. HOLTEC displayed this in the “DigiCube”. Visitors could perceive digital solutions for the sawmill industry which led to great interest as remote service solutions with data glasses, system simulation, monitoring and electronically supported spare part catalogues were shown.

Another core topic was the further development of the chainless conveying technology for logs which have been launched in the market more than ten years ago and is a story of success since then. Visitors could also have a look at a package crosscut saw unit in modular design. Up to six saw units can be positioned individually.

For the wood based panel industry HOLTEC presented its ability as supplier for turn-key systems for OSB and MDF wood yards and showed solutions for conditioning logs.
