The European industry magazine Euwid reported in issue 19/2025 that Holtec from Hellenthal was selected as “Sawmill Equipment Supplier of the Year 2025” by the editorial team of Holzkurier in recognition of its innovative strength in log handling. With solutions such as Logrunner, the chainless system and the VPK LogHandler portal crane, the company is setting standards and supplying systems to numerous well-known sawmills in Germany, Austria and across Europe. In addition to expanding its market position in log handling, Holtec is also driving forward digitalisation and automation, for example through remote operation, digital spare parts services and ergonomic operating solutions. Despite challenging market conditions, the company considers itself to be well positioned thanks to a strong order situation and innovative technologies.
