Variocut SHK with positionable package carriage and stationary saw unit

The package is positioned with high precision by an electrically controlled carriage. During the crosscutting operation, the guide bar can be flexibly guided through the package at an angle range of 0–15°. Crosscutting partial packages to any required package height is easily possible. By means of the set-off device, the kerf can be opened, which is a prerequisite for the optimal crosscutting of multiple lengths. The VC SHK model has been designed for short cycle times during the crosscutting process and high throughput performance.

The positionable HOLTEC Variocut FSHK has been specifically designed to meet the requirements of high‑performance crosscutting operations. With the positionable saw unit, the packages remain in their loaded position and are cut to length with highest precision. This machine concept is characterized by a robust saw body, a vertical guide bar guidance, and the ability to variably adjust the guide bar within an angle range of 0–15° during the crosscut. In addition, the system is ideally suited for cutting wood based materials of any length.

The proven solution for crosscutting entire packages of timber. The packages are precisely positioned to the saw by means of a movable carriage. By using the set-off device, the kerf can be opened. The robust saw unit provides a perfect cutting surface, package by package.

The positionable ES121 FSHK provides a simple and precise solution for end cuts - even when processing unedged or gap-stacked material. By means of the positionable saw the packages remain in their loaded position and are cut to length with highest precision. It is particularly well suited for customers with limited space.

Mobile crosscut saw Piccolo

Compact, precise and versatile – the mobile saw type Piccolo is an economical entry‑level solution within the HOLTEC product range. It is ideally suited for first and final cuts as well as center cuts of timber packages and logs.

The HOLTEC mobile saw type Kappstar is the perfect choice for the professional and cost‑effective cutting of timber packages or logs. Thanks to its excellent handling, it is easy to operate, while the HOLTEC cutting assembly consistently ensures excellent cutting quality. This all‑rounder for timber packages and logs features a robust design and is engineered for long service life.

The beginner model among package crosscut stations is optimally suited for efficient cutting of small volumes of timber. With the technique derived from the high‑performance models, it is the ideal choice for precise end trimming and cutting to length.

High-performance systems and special systems

In the packaging industry in particular, performance, speed, and precision are essential — combined with automated process solutions. The high‑performance saw Vario‑Cut, in combination with frequency‑controlled package carriage, ensures maximum cutting accuracy. The system is controlled via a PLC. Standard features include system visualization and integration via a bus communication interface. The addition of a strapping unit and a cant placing device with an automatic change magazine completes the fully automated workflow.
