Another important step towards sustainable energy supply has been accomplished: with the commissioning of our new photovoltaic system at the Blumenthal site, we are consistently further expanding our commitment to environmental and climate protection.
At our Jänkendorf site, we have been producing electricity sustainably since 2011. With the installation of our PV system in Blumenthal, the total installed capacity has now increased to 384 kWp (358.5 kWp in Blumenthal and 26.2 kWp in Jänkendorf). The Blumenthal system comprises a total of 790 solar modules with an output of 358.5 kWp and is completed by a high-performance battery system with 240 kWh storage capacity.
This enables the energy generated to be stored efficiently and used as required – a key contribution to optimising self-consumption and reducing the load on the power grids. A particular focus is placed on long-term ecological impact: the operation of the PV system allows more than 200 tonne of CO₂ to be saved each year.In this way, we are making an active contribution to reducing emissions and achieving our sustainability targets.
This investment underlines our commitment to combining economic activity with ecological responsibility.
For us, sustainability is not a short-term trend, but a central component of our corporate strategy – today and in the future.
