1 August 1978 was a Tuesday. Boney M topped the German singles charts with “Rivers of Babylon”, and Greek billionaire Christina Onassis married Sergei Kauzov. For Erich Poth, this date marked a significant personal milestone: he began his apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at HOLTEC, becoming one of the company’s very first trainees. Since then, Erich has remained loyal to HOLTEC and has been a key figure in the work preparation department. A career spanning 45 years is no longer something to be taken for granted – it reflects a deep connection to the company, as well as enduring motivation and passion for the job. Erich is truly one of HOLTEC’s cornerstones, having witnessed nearly all the highs and lows of the company’s history. General Manager Ute Klement congratulated Mr Poth on this extraordinary anniversary and thanked him for his commitment and loyalty. The entire HOLTEC team warmly congratulates him on this remarkable achievement.
